Your profile is made up of two numbers resembling a fraction – 2/4, 3/6, 4/1 etc. 

These two numbers come from your Sun and Earth gates, which you can see beside your bodygraph. The numbers actually represent a line – an extra division of our 360 degree representation of the sky. Each gate has one of these numbers from 1 to 6.

These line numbers represent an even more precise and individual description of us based on our Human Design chart.

Why do we use the line numbers that go with the Sun and Earth gates? It is because these gates represent the most powerful energy within us. This makes the line numbers the most powerful of these.

Your profile, on your Human Design chart, will be followed by a short description made up of at least two words. You might see different versions of these around as the traditional descriptions are often a little harsh or difficult to relate to, for example hermit/heretic. These are less important than the energy contained within the numbers! But it is useful to find some descriptions that resonate and use them as prompts. Are you balancing the energy of both of these archetypes or is one ruling the roost?

My profile is 1/3 Investigator/Martyr and I was definitely focused more on the Line 1 energy than the Line 3 energy. Although I carried wounding around both parts of my profile, the deepest wounds were associated with Line 3 so I had learned to hide it!

When we recognise both of these archetypal energies within us, we can operate in the world with a higher vibe! My experience is that you just come to feel more you!
